So I am looking to upgrade my stab to a Bee Stinger Pro Hunter, probably the 10", and I am wondering what weight to get. Any of you got one of these or something similar? What weight do you use? Also anyone have any info on the new model coming out this year? Thanks!!!
I have the pro hunter 10" with an 8oz weight. I was able to try them before I bought for my retailer to see how the weight felt. I thought the 4 oz was too light for my liking and above 8 oz was too weight forward on my bow. ( 2012 Elite Answer). Worst case you buy it and the weight isn't right and you get a different weight. I replaced a S coil and see a noticeable difference in 60 yd and beyound groups. Maybe that is just from more shooting, but I think the balance with the longer stab is helping Bruce
Here is the new Pro Hunter Maxx, photo courtesy of the bowhunting.com crew. Found some details on it. It has the Deresonator, looks just like the one on the Sport hunter Extreme. It has 3 separate weights one 2oz and two 4oz, effectively giving you a range from 2-10oz. Looks like they combined both of their previous models into one. Still going to be in 8", 10" and 12" sizes apparently. Not sure of price, my guess is about the same.
