Anyone shoot this bad boy? Checking it out and putting it in my list for possible bow purchase for next season along with the BowTech Assassin...

If you have shot the Charger (or even the Assassin)... What's your take on it?

I've shot both and you'd be well served by both.
What really matters is how they feel and shoot for you.

I have shot the Charger and my intention was to purchase one, however they had one Rampage XT left and I bought it for a discount. I thought the Charger was a great bow.

I've been hearing a lot of cases of the bowtech bows just spontaneously imploding. The limbs just break for no reason. My brother in law has a bowtech and a friend of his had one. The friends bow popped right beside him sitting on his tree hook out of nowhere for no reason. Bowtech replaced it but still...
My brother in law is getting rid of his. I've also read guys here on the forum talking about bowtech limbs popping so it seems like it's fairly common.

I own the Hoyt Charger, awesome bow. It is light, very nice back wall and has a forgiving valley, if you relax doesn't want to take off on you. The draw is really nice also. Seems like when you are pulling 65 lbs it feels like 55lbs. Scoot

last year i shot all three, the charger, ballistic, and assassin...after all was said and done i ended up taking home the charger. It just felt better to me...best bet is to go shoot all three and see which one feels best to u...we can all tell u what we have and chose but that doesnt mean u will like the same things as us....go shoot em and decide which one feels best to u...

The Charger is a sweet bow. The only poppin you will hear from the Hoyt Charger is when you start poppin bulls-eye's at 30 yards :) It is a super quiet bow, with no hand shock.

i love the charger, it reminds me alot of the alphamax from 2009. if you get one get a 2013. the 2014 models are all plastic'd up, they changed the limb pockets and the grip i believe.
