I'm gonna pick me up another new bow in about a month or so. I've narrowed it down to three. PSE DNA SP, Hoyt Spyder 30, Bowtech Assassin. I have shot all three and love them all....lol. I'm kind of a brand loyal person and always have been. PSE & Hoyt has been good to me over the years. That Bowtech sure is nice though. Just can't figure out which way to go! I'm keeping my new PSE Revenge....love that bow and will never sale it. Going to sale my 2013 PSE Brute X though...I think. It's never been in the woods. Let me know what you all think?

    Thanks, Mark

PSE all the way. I am bias due to the fact I have shot a PSE for the last 3 years.

i have owned an assassin and shot the spyder, but the reviews on the PSE are phenomenal and being that you are familiar with PSE you'd be silly not to get it.

i grabbed it to hunt with my brother while on a weeks leave before leaving for alaska. it wasnt bad for the money. i found it a little stiff to start the draw, but great backwall and good speeds for the money spent. i smoked my father in laws Z7 with it lol. he was bragging about his Z7's speeds and my assassin smoked his bow.

One of my friends has one and I have shot it...I really like it. I haven't even looked at the price. Are they cheaper than the Hoyt & PSE?

For the money the assassin is a good bow it is in the same boat as the Hoyt charger, mission blaze, Bear method, PSE drive and many other bows that have great numbers at a decent price. the hoyt spyder and the DNA sp are flagships some of your dough is going for the little extra features and the name alone. i am not brand loyal and i love to shoot anything handed to me just for grins.

Crap...that is a lot cheaper. I thought they ran around $850 like the DNA SP & Spyder 30. I guess I need to price it...lol. I really did like my buddies Assassin. I would love to shoot the new Elite Energy 32 as well. More than likely it will be between the PSE & Hoyt though.

I've shot the energy 32. It's going to take something pretty impressive for me not to buy one. Smoothest drawing bow I've ever picked up and it was absolutely dead after the shot. Elite has a winner with those energy bows!

I just got the spyder 30 and love that thing. I am not brand loyal either. Walked into the shop looking or a mathews and they put that hoyt in my hand and I fell in love. After shooting many different bows I always went back to it. It's a nice bow but the price kills you. Mine total for bare bow was $1,476 including tax.

I think I have narrowed it down to two. PSE or Hoyt. I'm going to shoot the Elite Energy 32 this weekend first.

I am a Hoyt boy... But the new PSE Source has the SP cam, and is 33" ATA, and is smooth, quiet, accurate and forgiving! Very stable bow. Its my favorite PSE i have shot second to the Freak max, i like it more than the DNA SP! It runs under $800 too!

Yeah...the DNA SP, Source, and Premonition have all SC cams on them. Very nice shooting bows. I like the Adjustable limb stops on the source cams.
