I shot my bow today wearing a jacket that's bulkier than usual. The string was slapping my sleeve a bit. My shots seemed to be grouping to the left. Does the string slapping your sleeve effect the trajectory of the arrow? If so, what's a good fix for this?

    Thanks,

    Dave

Put a sock or something Tight over your jacket sleeve to draw it in so you don't have string slap. Yea it can affect your shot and U dont want it to happen. Realtree makes a sleeve for this actually

    Here u go man

I wear an arm guard with anything more than a long sleeve T. $10.00... peace of mind.

I don't wear an arm guard, but yes string slap can affect your POI. I have had a couple nasty nasty bruises from string slaps in the past, usually caused by poor form and allowing my elbow to turn in. Haven't done it in a long time, and hopefully never again.
