From my buddies cam on some property we hunt. I like the deer with the fog etc.
Also shows how we hang our food..
Hanging the block keeps the coons from killing it. one block will last half the season if not more.
And hanging the apples drives em nuts. Usually the whole rod is stacked with apples and as they eat the bottom one they keep sliding down.

    Thats a great idea.

Can you explain a little more on how it works or what you use?

Take a regular food block and drill a hole through the center. I use a cable dog run and tie it between two trees..you may have to cut it. If so you use what's left and feed it through the block and loop it around a small block of wood to hold the food block on hang the block in the center of the cable that's between two trees. I hang the blocks about chest high. Then just take some electrical wire and tie it to the cable on both side and let it hang. Slip the apples up the wire and you have a nice apple kabob.
Kind of a close up below

I am going to try that this year.

You could also just wrap some wire around a branch instead of using two trees.

Yes if it's a big branch. If small it could break. Deer wack it pretty hard and it could get swinging etc.

Hanging the block I can understand but hanging apples seems like a lot of work?
