Short explanation on this video is: It was a very cold day here in Md, this was on 11/20/13. I was standing up facing away from where this Buck cruised in, trying to get some of the Suns rays to warm up... My hands were frozen. I heard him walking in but honestly just thought it was another squirrel. When out of the corner of my eye I noticed it wasn't a squirrel but in fact a nice 6pt Buck. The video isn't the best so forgive me on that. As I picked up my bow and hit record on my IPhone that is where the video picks up. Again with my hands frozen solid and unable to get him broadside I didn't feel comfortable taking a quartering away shot. I tried twice to get him to stop and turn but wasn't successful. I was defeated to say the least when I left the stand that day.. This happened at 9:10 in the morning....but am thankful as well that I even saw a nice Buck like him as it has been a hard go for me this season when it comes to seeing mature Bucks. Did see 2 Does later in the day but nothing cruising behind them. http://youtu.be/Nj7pFSmKQUg <+>< Ps 46: 1 ><+>
Super awesome. I'd Like to see him hit the ground sometime soon. Used to hunt in West Virginia, I feel your pain when it comes to finding nice mature bucks. Better luck next time.
