The charts say they are ok up to 70lbs.

But one guy said once you are 65lbs, or so, you should go to 300 spine.

    Any suggestions?

Depends on the draw length and cam/riser design (ibo rating)

I have read a couple of articles that suggest that a stiffer spine will improve penetration by reducing flex as the broadhead impacts

A properly spined arrow will increase penetration by reducing bad arrow flight.

Assuming a 28"or shorter arrow, you can shoot a 340 easily. If shorter, a 400 would probably work.

I assume the ibo on that bow is not real high.

I shoot Gold Tip Pro Hunter 350s on a 28" draw PSE Stinger at 70# with no problems. 350s were recommended for that bow when I bought it.

When looking at gold tip and carbon express, as well as a few others. The number listed is NOT the spine in most cases.

    A 250 from them is typically a 400 and a 350 is around a 340 spine.

Easton shafts are listed by spine, so if you buy a 340 easton shaft, that is the spine.

None at all.. The arrows fly true and zeroing wasn't an issue

    I shoot a 27 inch gold tip XT Hunter Black 7595 / 340 spine @67lb
26.5 dl. with 100 gr heads... I am thinking of trying a 125gr head to see if improved foc helps anything.
May weaken the spine too much though. I have shot my bow at 72lb though and no ill effects of the 340 spine

You have plenty of spine for 125 gr heads. You could probably even shoot a 400 spine.

    This x10.

I am shooting at 67#@27.25" with my BowMadness. 326 IBO.

My arrows are a 27" XT 7595 with 50 grain insert weights and a 125 grain head. I am still on the stiff side. But, my FOC is really high and my arrows are the most accurate/forgiving I have ever shot. I recently joined a pro staff for another company and will do something similar with their arrows this next season.

so you're shooting 125 grain heads and a 50 grain insert? that does raise the foc% a lot

Heck, I have 75 gr brass inserts and 150 gr broadheads. Yea, that raises foc a little. Lol

so you can shoot the 75 gr insert and the 150 gr head on the end of a 340 spine? that doesn't make it too weak?

A lot of it depends on how short the arrows are cut as well as draw length and poundage.
