I'm used to hearing something like this "You spent how much on your bow? You could have bought an Xbox with that!" I must say I've been pretty blessed this year, nice buck too btw!

This was last Sunday, the day after I shot my last buck. I'm kinda kicking myself for tagging out but at the same time it's cool to just sit back and watch. I'm hoping my dad or girlfriend will put him down once rifle season rolls around.

No, but I'll be bow hunting and watching for trespassers... Last year 3 guys walked under my stand. I cleared my throat to make a noise and they freaked out with guns pointing in my direction. I informed them they were trespassing and they tried to argue with me! "My grandpa said we could hunt here..." Well you better go back over yonder to your grandpa's property then... It's about a 1/4 mile that way. I've run the same guys off the property before, but I'm sure they don't remember. They have even parked on my property by my truck! unbelievable! Really?!?! if you are gonna trespass at least try to be sneaky about it? Meth is a horrible drug!

Yeah I will have the rifle in hand this weekend. Always a good time to go to the cabin with some of the family. Drink beer at night and hunt all day, good times. Gonna be a bit cold tho!!

It would be great if the ODWC had some archery only public land...

As much as I love bow hunting, we all get 3.5 months to bow hunt. Always seemed kind of petty to begrudge 16 days ( only 9 on some WMA's"") to get the vast overwhelming majority of hunters out there...

Also, there are areas that , aside from extremely limited controlled hunts, are only open for bow hunting

Whenever people post pics of their deer on facebook, I'm like, "Gun or Bow?" and when they say bow I always post something really positive, but if they say gun, I always post something condescending lol... I'm gonna be in a tree this morning, freezing lol. Good luck everyone!

Wind isn't too bad here yet. I went on a run this morning and every truck that passed me had at least 2 orange heads in it lol.

Well I went and sat until 9. I didn't see anything special just lots of does and lots of fawns. I'm planning on taking one out of the herd tomorrow to take the backstraps out of then turn the rest into jerky. I love giving deer jerky away for XMass it's always a BIG hit.,

I've had to work all weekend during this awesome front. Off all of next week. My time will be spent in the duck blind and chasing pheasants.

Actually have to work that day. Its funny because Poke fans were saying the same thing last year? Remember that last run by Clay? Was it three osu players he ran over on the way to the endzone? Im glad the pokes beat baylor but im Sooner through an through. Dont count your chickens before they hatch:)

Lol, I'm just giving you a hard time buddy. I LOVE it when Bedlam actually matters as far as BCS. Gonna be a game to watch for sure. I saw my deer crush 2 nights ago at 35 yards, No clue what I did but the arrow went right over the shoulder. Then saw him again last night at 70 yds... Didn't see anything anything this morning.

Looks like some nasty weather is on the way. Keep warm and be safe guys, unless you're hunting, then just be safe because you're not gonna be warm. Hopefully this front will make the coyotes hungry, they're at the top of my list, but with this weather idk if I'll be getting out of the house.
