The way the murder of toric went down was insane... I also like how the sons decided to go and fill the nazis with bullets and plant their weapons in the house and burn it down... Every season gets more intense
Every season tops the one before. I realize it's cliche and doesn't provide much drama to snowball into next season, but I hope Jax an Tara get back together.
I kept wondering when this thread would come alive again. After last nights episode, I guess that did it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk www.skyangler.com
So do I. Seemed to be a little glimmer of hope there as she grabbed Jax's hand before she got into the van, but then the next episodes preview made it look like she was on the run away from the club.
You're kidding right? This is about the SOA. She can single handedly destroy the club. Then there'd be no show. The club must go on. She's a liability.
A rational human being would not have gotten involved with Jax and the SOA in the first place. Her own bad decisions have led to her current situation.
I've wanted Tara gone since season two, she doesn't fit into the show well and I'm tired of her constant whining about wanting out of the life she chose.
This is a drama guys. Killing or getting rid of Tara gives no drama. The club isn't getting out of all violent crime and moving on with their lives as they plan, or next season will suck. They will always be teetering on the edge of disaster until the show is over.
How is she not? Just reiterating what the show creator said. That's the thing, she is a liability to the SOA. SOA is also an outlaw motorcycle gang that senselessly kills people, has been in the illegal gun running business for several years, and does a long list of other criminally awful things. That's one of the great things about the show and a tribute to Sutter's storytelling, is that we the fans get so invested in the show, that we begin to genuinely care about the characters and the well being of the club. So much so, that it blurs our distinction between right and wrong, because of our interest in these characters. Myself included, I flipped out when Opie died. But while the show is fictitious, the outlaw MC world is very real, and SOA mirrors that world very closely based on what I've read (minus the senseless killings. Seriously, SAMCRO has killed like 100+ people in Charming since the show began). Everyone on that show right now, including Tara, is a terrible, awful human being as a result of the SOA. Tara is the only one, right now at least, with a selfless, moral motive. You could argue that Jax is too, but he's still a long ways away from becoming more like JT and less like Clay. Also, the plan has always been for SOA to go 7 seasons. I don't think if Tara died they're going to all of a sudden stop production. It's not a reality series.
True, but that's part of her mythology. Since the show's inception, one of the biggest arcs for Tara's character was her conflict with her involvement in the club and Jax. Does she love Jax, does she not? She does, but does she love him enough to be a part of this world? Should she've stayed in Chicago or come back to Charming? Etc. etc. etc. She's struggled with those decisions the entire series, it's just never been as profound as this season.
Personally, I don't care that much about the characters. Especially not enough to blur my distinction between right and wrong. If it did, I'd sell my TV and get professional help. It's a fictional story, period. Second of all, I said that Tara could destroy the club and that would end the show. Not what you have stated. If Tara died the show would go on without all that whining. She's got to go. I pretty much know that it's not a reality show with all the killing and such and especially when you have a doctor falling in love with a member of an OMG. Question: Do you rock SOA gear? A vest, tee shirt or hat? It sounds like you might.
I didn't mean the show is over if they killed Tara... Just that she provides a huge angle of drama/problems for the club and that's all this show is about.

It must be the passion in your writing that points me in that direction. Sent from my Galaxy S3 and Tapatalk 2
