Hoping to score out for the contest this weekend by shooting a doe. I scored my buck wrong and have updated the score. He went 117 1/8. Alright, Friday is fast approaching, which is when we leave for up north. The bow is all sighted in, waxed, tightened and ready to go. Gear is washed and have all I need with scent control. The countdown begins. On a side note, I was talking with the guy I'm heading up with and he said that his brother-in-law was up there last week doing a little scouting. That guy saw around 28 deer or so (unknown if some are counted twice) and a couple of nice shooter bucks. Getting excited just like a kid gets the night before the fat guy in a red suit comes to town.

Shot over the back of a buck that responded to blind calling. Wasn't that big, but I haven't connected on a buck with my bow since 2007. Great night in the woods.
