when a buck gets injured

    That's crazy, that's the only deer I've ever seen that looks like the buck I killed last year. That beam is on the same side and identical to mine. My deer was also shot with a gun, but it was from my own wife the year before.

    Congrats to her! That is a great buck. I love the character.

    I agree. I think he just busted his rack somehow and isnt hurt.

    I actually watched him grow the rack all year. he was like that first week of may, first time I saw him this year. He was already growing down and away. watched him nearly nightly behind the house in beans this summer. it was an injury of some sort. I would imagine end of deer season. He was healthy as of December 20th of last year. Then this spring he was like this. To add to the mystery our neighbors hit a tall buck in front end last day of muzzleloader dec. 23rd last year. I personally believe it was him.
