    I shoot better with a release with a strap connector as opposed to the bars and swivels.

    I shoot a Carter Choc-lite 4 finger. I love it, helped me get over the yips.

    Trigger. Never shot anything else though so can't really compare. I use a Tru-Fire Hurricane Extreme (buckle), and really like it!

    Carter RX2 Trigger, recommended by Tfox. It's fully adjustable for trigger pull length and weight, got me over target panick and been shooting great with it so far....I love that release! Three deer this year and longest recovery was maybe 80 yards...great shot placement with it.

    Tru-ball or trufire, I can't remember. I think it's called a t-handle release. Either way, its a thumb release :lol:

    I've got a Tru-fire and a Tru-ball. Both are trigger releases.
    Though I think I'd like to try a thumb release, because all those freestyle tournament archers I see in competitions (on the internet) seem to use them. I'm guessing they're probably the most consistently accurate releases, though that's just my guess.

    I use a Scott mongoose trigger release. I like the strap around my wrist. After seeing couple pics of thumb release always hanging in string ready for action has me curious about it. Don't have to worry about it falling off?
