Its Nov. 11th and I am yet to see a single deer. I've hunted in hot weather, cold weather, windy, calm, rain, snow, sunny, cloudy, morning, afternoon, wind coming from every single direction, and still nothing. I wash my hunting clothes once a week at least and shower before almost every hunt. Oh well...

You have to hunt where there are deer to see them...I am not trying to be a jerk, but there are places on the property I hunt where you could possibly not see a deer all season ...but I doubt it ...

Do you hunt near sign? Tracks, trails, scrapes, rubs?

Don't give up, stay persistent, because your whole season could be changed in a matter of seconds. If your in a place that you know holds deer... stick it out... if not move until you find them.

    Something is wrong.

It is normal not to see deer on every hunt. To not see a deer by 11/11/2013 in Wisconsin would be an epic fail.

Go back to the drawing board. Anyone who trys to sugar coat it is not helping you.

Yeah, something is wrong here. I hunt all over Sauk county and to not see a single deer is borderline impossible in most of the county. Are you hunting public or private, not that it matters around there really. The public in that area is pretty good. Could somebody be sabotaging your area? Also, when you say you havent see a single deer do you mean in bow range or at any distance?

    Biggest question should be,

Are you on public or private land?

Grab a cheap trail cam, I think you can dump a gallon or so of bait in WI, and maybe they see you and wait till you're gone. The camera may tell a story or inspire you.
Best of luck the rest of the season.

Do you hunt with your eyes open? Could be the problem....

No way I would have made it this long without quitting. I'll give you that. Persistence is good, but you have got to change something pretty drastically. Set up on a food source, no way you can do that all Fall and not see deer.

Yeah I hunt where there is deer sign. I have one stand in fairly thick woods where I've always seen deer. Some decently good trails running though the area where my stand is. My other stand is one the border of woods and what was a soy bean field and now is a winter wheat field. Trails also run through there as well as a few scrapes as of lately. I have gotten a lot of trail cam pics in both places and a handful of about 3 different mature bucks. And when I say I haven't seen any deer I mean no deer at all. Its private land and I am the only person who bow hunts it.

Got to change something. I have been hunting for about 17 years and I can honestly say I do not recall the last time I went hunting and did not see a deer. Saturday I saw 9, Monday 7, and today 6....all from about 3:30 to 5:30 in the evening. That was the only time I was actually hunting on all 3 days.
