This buck passed by my normal set up location last Sunday afternoon ( was in a new set up). he was following a doe that I seen earlier walking fast. I attempted to move closer before the buck would show up but I failed. I believe he's a decent 8. I'm going to say I'd probably would have passed him up, but who knows. He looked big from 80+ yards away. this is just more proof that they are on their feet and the chase has begun. Sorry for the sideways camera action. I'm getting used to my new HTC-One.
I hear ya. Last year I was after a nice 9 pointer (biggest deer I have had on my cameras to date). Saw him once during season but couldn't get him close. I ended up getting a picture of him on camera walking 10 yards past where I had been 2 hours earlier but had to leave for class.
