That is horrible and so young. I can't imagine what he and his family were going through in that room.

Wow, what a terribly tragic story. Prayers go out to his family and friends. :(

All the more reason I'll continue using LifeLines in all of my stands.

My father's friend was paralyzed falling from a treestand in Ohio. He did not have a harness on while exiting the stand. He's still alive, I'm pretty sure he still hunts. Very tragic story.

This tragic story has made the front page of yahoo. Never would have thought something like this would happen in such a small community. I will most likely be attending the viewing this week, the support from all over the country will greatly help to ease the pain of his family.

I guess his climbing sticks only went up so far, he used a branch to climb into his stand. Well climbing out, the branch broke.

This is terrible. My dad has a buddy at work who is paralyzed from the waist down from falling out of a tree. I don't understand why anyone hunting in this day and age wouldn't wear a safety harness.

Thanks for posting this guys. I read it on indystar the other day. It's always unfortunate when people have to learn from someone who paid the unlimate price.

Prayers to his family and friends. Under no circumstance should someone not have to come home to their family.
