    I just have 3 different bucks chasing 3 different does. Between and the grunting fighting and bleating it was un real. Best day so far in stand. They were all within 30 yds but would not stop running and could not get off a shot at the big 8pt that was there. They live another day

    Kind of quiet on here today, also pretty quiet in the woods. Think I have seen maybe 3 squirrels all morning. This rain sucks.....

    Wesley, I had fried chicken for lunch. :)

    Just got settled into a stand that has produced a buck for me two years in a row. I stunk the place up trimming out shooting lanes...it grew up on me this summer.

    I have the right mixture of dedication and stupidity to sit in the rain all day and live off bologna sandwiches. And I live 35 mins from my lease and it takes a quarter tank of gas there and back, so once I'm here, I don't leave till dark. Nicer in early season though, I could get down and run to the truck stop and get lunch, then take a hour or 2 nap in the truck and not really be afraid of missing much.
