I've had both and having just got the nockturnals this year don't have much to compare. Do like that they seem a lot more reliable, in my experience, and are easoer to turn off. The main reason I switched was becsuse with my arrows the lumenoks didn't always light up. I talked to some people and it seems with the nock collar that cx has on somearrows the little wires don't always make a good conection. I was also kind of leary of the wires on them not being very reliable. One thing I've noticed about the nockturnals is sometimes when putting the arrow on string I've accidentally turned them on. Not sure if that was because it wasn't fully in the "off" position or if its just something you haveta watch for. Its only happened a couple times.

The GT models would work. I shoot gold tip velocity arrows and just picked up some nockturnals. Looking forward to seeing that blue light flying through the air this year.

Yah, They are defiantly are an investment. After losing arrows/broad heads using the other light nocks and nock failures I found that the cost is offset if you can stomach the initial cost.

I personally like carbon express launch pads. They are by far the best designed imo. Nocturnals next. I hate the lumenok they are a pain.
