I lost count at 8 bucks near me Fri am. One was a monster 6 pointer that I would have mounted! His back and gut hung down. He got no closer than 60 in the woods. Lots of sniffing, but no chasing.
Pulled the camera card this afternoon. Four new bucks on film but no shooters, best was a basket 6. Four days off to hit the woods. Several more scrapes on the ground near my stand. Will be in the tree before sunup tomorrow, looking for bone. Good luck out there and be safe.

Hey Team! Checking back in, had a great morning yesterday. I passed 50 points (nubbin buck) ... sorry! It seemed like it was going to be one of those mornings. I ended up seeing 6 does and 4 bucks. One 2 year old 6 chasing hard. Lots of yearlings which leads me to believe the mature does are starting to get pushed around! BowhuntOrDie!!! Next time i'm out is Halloween!
Nine hours in the stand today and didn't see a single deer. Expected to see them moving but no luck. Warmed up into the 80s and the mosquitos came out thick. Maybe tomorrow will be better, it's not often that the stand I was in doesn't at least let me see at least a few moving around. Found fresh rubs today so they are getting close. Looks like weekday hunts are going be hard to come by thru 11/16. Work is solid every day. At least then I have a full week off on some really good public land. Forgot to tell everyone that my hunting partner killed a 4 pointer last Fri on that property in WI we can no longer hunt. He also killed a doe, but we backed out after the blood got light. We went back out the next AM to find that 'yotes ate 3/4 of her and dragged her about 30 yds from where the drag marks began. The problem was Roger stopped following blood the night before about 20 yds from where those drag marks started! He was pissed. Good luck guys.

I'll be out there. Took four days off this week to hunt. 80's today so took care of other stuff. Front and thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow, if it isn't lightning I'll be out there. Thursday the temps are suppose to drop again, I hope so cause I'm tired of fighting mosquitos but I'll be out there. Good luck all.

Neal I hear you on the weather tomorrow I didn't get out today at all, had to run home this morning and do a few things for the better half. Lol just got back down to the hunting shack and its a lite drizzle and foggy as heck. Hopefully it clears out by morning I'm planning on sitting as long as I can. It's been pretty slow this week as far as deer movement goes.
