I'm in OKC, hunting in Pontotoc county in the southeast. I've seen a lot of deer already this year, can't wait for the big boys to come out and play. Got my 125gr muzzy's just a'waitin on'em!

Not out on my property, I'm seeing spikes and does all morning and evening, but all of my camera shots of the big boys are in the middle of the night. But I got good shots to show my groups of bucks have already broken up where as 3 weeks ago they were all grouped up. I hunted the maximum amount of time last weekend during the full moon and saw maybe 25 does and a few little guys, but still haven't seen the big boys in the light of day.
I'm sure I'll see one this weekend.

Went and helped him hang a stand today, were thinking from pics the stand is right on the way from his bedding area to the food... so hopefully he can take care of him. I told him I let him walk and he was so grateful he said I can shoot any buck I want other than him so I'm holding him to it lol.

Brandon, I noticed you took the picture of the big snake a little further away. What's up with that? :D

Hah Jerry, that big snake had a little bit further of a reach than that little one. Plus he wasn't a very happy camper. Oh an he was torso high and about 3 feet away when he finally rattled. Creepy!

Between yesterday morning and evening I seen 8 bucks. 6 were within 15 yards. One was well over 170 inches. Sucks not being able to shoot those!

I was at my control hunt I drew for. It was at Sequoyah NWR. Antler less only. Maybe one day they will make it like the Ammo Dep and have a trad hunt for buck or doe.
