Not quite time here yet. I'm ready for it to get here though. I have a really good feeling about this weekend though, even if they aren't chasing around here yet.

Not time here, I have seen a couple road kills in the last couple days, but I'd say we are still a good two weeks out before they go full on rut here. Scrapes are starting to pop up, and I'm finally starting to notice some rubs around my hunting area.

I believe the seeking phase is under way...not full blown rut yet..

According to experts, some doe go into estrus as early as the third week of October....

I think the seeking phase is beginning here too, I haven't seen much daytime movement yet though. I think daytime activity should be picking up within the next week

I will check my cameras on Sunday. My original plan to hunt the "good stuff" was around November 1st. I am in central Illinois and I have friends seeing the same things. If my cameras show buck movement during the day I will start earlier.

Not here yet. I drove 150 miles on a major highway yesterday, 1 road kill - which is about what I would see any time of year. Have not found a scrape yet on my property, and only a few small rubs.
If its as it normally is here, first couple weeks of Nov will be hot and heavy. Good luck PT, get your butt out there. LOL

Just starting to pick up a little bit here. See some more daytime buck movement (decent one this morning). Scrapes popping up everywhere. Buddy of mine 15 miles away said he saw 3 wallhangers (one freak) all over a doe a couple nights ago. Feels like it's not quite crazy time around my neck of the woods but definitely getting closer to love in the air.

Only seen alot of new scrapes showing up here in my part of ny. No dead deer on the roads where they normally start showing up. But have heard alot of guys seeing early rut type activity. Time to break out the doe bleats!

Another week to 10 days of colder weather and it should start picking up here in MD. Not much going on right now except a few small scrapes.

Good luck PT! I still haven't seen any rutting activity or scrapes in my area. Several friends have reported seeing some sparring and rubs/ scrapes on their properties, so I'm sure its going to heat up soon.

I have no idea. My land is almost 3 hours away and I have not been on it for 3 weeks and won't be on it again till November 2nd and have off for 10 days. I guess I'll find out then.
