Tomorrow marks the first day in Northern NY's early bow season. I'm so ready for 0630 to be here already. My set up is a secluded piece of property with minimal pressure. i set my blind out this week and used Dead Deer Walking's Corn Maize cover scent, and let me just say it needs no testimony. I checked out my area this afternoon to make sure the lay out hasn't changed due to the wind and fallen timber. I happened to notice much more sign right around my blind than even before i set up. i feel like Dead Deer Walking has hit a mile stone a cover scent that does EXACTLY what its meant to and then some! ADKBH P.S I also want to mention what a great job Winchester Archery has done, my bow broke last Sunday (manufacturers fault) and Winchester handled the situation very well 34 Hour turn around and my bow was tuned and ready to go! THAT'S SERVICE! They took priority to get it done for me in time for deer season, i was impressed and extremely thankful as i have 27-30 September to fill 3 tags!
Slow goings this morning, saw three does at 40 in thick brush but they were moving like they were shot at or being chased. getting ready for my afternoon hunt! Good luck everyone!
