Sat last night in the middle of the blizzard we received yesterday. Lots of movement & deer under me most of the sit but no shooters. Weather sucked but always fun to sit when there's deer around. Went out last night in the 80 degree temps. Didn't see anything, but got blown at climbing down. Working all week and then back at it next weekend. It's antlerless muzzleloader, but I'll have my bow out in hopes of whacking a doe. I'm sure I'll have a shooter pass right by me and be unable to shoot it. That's typically how these things go.

Sat last night with my "cameraman" & weather was beautiful. Had a few fawns & one spike buck under the stand but no shooters. Still a great experience for my daughter. I stayed in yesterday, rained off and on all day. Kicking around the idea of leaving early today and getting in the stand for an evening hunt. The temps dropped to a tolerable 60 degrees so it should be a good evening.
Well, I'm back from wonderful Ft. Benning. Going to try to get out in the next week or so depending on weather and work/school stuff. Hope everything is going well with everyone.

Headed down to the farm in SoutWest IL Tomorrow after work be instand Saturday till about noon an then all day Sunday! Can not flippin wait im pretty excited. Just picked up a new bow couple days ago spent the last 2 tuning it up. It's hot this evening but I'm sitting back over some water hoping to catch some freezer stuffers headed for an evening drink
If I had done what I promised myself I would do this summer and shot some shots from that stand I wouldn't have to post that I flat out missed today 30 yards downhill shoots like 27 and I didn't range it. Must have hit a limb with the range finder the first time it ranged as 22 shoot 19. Got a few stray white hairs and a bent up broad head from hitting a rock in the creek bed.......frustrated
