I'm looking for some hunting gear, clothes on a budget. Can anyone make recommendations also provide me with some knowledge of what to look for when shopping for pants, shirts, under garments, boots, etc.?

When do you need these? This season?
The best time to get good deals is after season on clearance. Most places like gander mountain or ****s sporting goods still have a good clearance rack.

These are great recommendations. I also like the bargain cave @ Cabellas.

try to avoid clothing w/ cotton. It can be tough b/c that's what is usually "cheap" and attractive when shopping.

Cabelas Bargain Cave is where most of my camo came from.

Love to shop the bargain cave in mid Jan. Lots of returns from x-mas means the bargain cave is over flowing with gear. One still needs to be careful. I have found items in the cave that were actually more then the same item on sale/clearance on the main floor.

I moved from Georgia to Colorado and need new camo due to the extreme terrain differences. a couple people have posted about 46rail. I can have checked out their website and the patterns and designs look great . does anyone have 46rail gear? how does it fit and is it good for cold weather?

Check out the scentlok website. They have a lot of good items on sale.
