Frustrated, yesterday and today I've been shooting like crap. Gonna head to the range this week and tweak the sight a little bit and just concentrate on some form and having fun and get ready for October 15th!

Well boys, what did you guys see this afternoon/evening? I was unable to get out as I had to work until 6:00. Planning on getting out tomorrow afternoon for a perfect wind (East) for one of my favorite stands to hunt early season. Good luck guys!

Soooo I went to the shop today to fix something small on the Helim and shot the Bowtech Carbon Knight and wow that bow feels great. Had another fella offer me a good price for the Helim so this afternoon I'll be picking up the new Knight

Please be sure to research that bow carefully.
    It's not actually carbon.
    Is delron coated with carbon

Good luck! You are more of a man than I am 'cause I would be a mess if I purchased a bow a couple weeks before the season. :hail:

I accidentally cut a string about 5 yrs ago 3 weeks before the season and I nearly had a heart attack!!

I have until Feb 10 before the season ends, come Oct 15th if I'm not fully confident with the Knight then I'll delay my opener but I feel good about it!

I know a couple guys who have always shot Matthews and they both did not like the helim at all. That being said I have never shot one nor a bowtech, I am a PSE guy.

Seems like almost everyone is out now, good luck guys stay safe!

6 Hours in the stand this morning, saw 6 deer, three button bucks, one fawn that weighed all of about 30 pounds and 2 does, no shot opportunities. They moved good until around 10 then they shut off. One of the does looked like it may have some piebald genes, had a white spot on the side of its neck and another one on the back of its head, both small but interesting sight to see. Only saw one real piebald deer in my life, it was pretty cool. Didn't hunt this evening, may not get back out until next Monday. Good luck to all and be safe out there.
