Here are some of the pictures of a nice Bull Elk taken in Pike County, KY by one of my buddies. This elk hunt is a random drawing. Thousands of people put in every year and after 10 years of putting his name in and paying the $15 he finally got picked. This was a hunt for a lifetime for him.

Thats awesome congrats to him! I still have never tried in PA. Would love the chance, but doubt I ever will try. Even if Im lucky enough to get pulled, itll cost more money then I normally have laying around, and finding the time to get a little scouting in with little notice is hard in my career. Glad he was able to get it done!
That's a nice bull. I put in for the first time this year, but it is always a tough draw. That's awesome they pulled his name.

Awesome bull. This year was my first time putting in for the KY elk draw and got drawn for a cow Archery tag. Hopefully going to get the chance to head to the mountains end of the month for a few days.
Tell your buddy way to go. Its funny to see it not get quartered and packed out on your back. (I'm jealous)
Great job, having the option of rifle or bow and choosing the bow on this hard to get hunt....that's what it's all about, well done. 2013 Elk .. didn't get drawn, with ya in spirit.
