Hot opening day in Michigan

    Today will be around 80 degrees. Any advice to hunting days like this?

    Take a thermocell or the bugs will make it a miserble hunt! I left mine the first time I went out this evening and 15 minutes into the hunt, I was miserable.

    Dress light. If you do not have a thermacell, rub dryer sheets that you put in a dryer machine for clothes, on your skin. That works fantastic.

    Hot and windy like it is here today - I wouldn't even waste my time....go salmon/trout fishing or grouse hunting(too windy for this to be much good either).

    Hunt near water. It was in the low 80s saturday and yet I shot a doe near a pond. Good luck!

    Hunt water or stay home in all honesty. Thermacell is good idea, but I hate bugs and sitting there sweating.
