Man I can't believe it. I was practicing out of a 2 man-stand in my back yard and I was shooting at bout a 25 yd target but had to lean due to a tree branch. I did realize how close my lower cam was to the side rail of the stand and "whap" the damn thing nicked it and put an ever so slight dent in the cam when it cam back around, so I am out of commission until i can get it repaired. I am off to the bow shop as soon as it opens tomorrow. Damn, it was going great. Hitting everything I was aiming at. Just got a little to close to that rail. Hopefully it won't take too long to get it done. What else sucks is that i have a set of speed cams that I could swap but I can't find my parts bin. Dang it anyway!
Hopefully you'll get up and be rdy quick man!! Hate to hear it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Wouldnt of happened to you if you were out hunting instead of screwing around! :D Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2
Bummer man! I feel for you and hope you get back on track quickly. It must have been something in the air yesterday. I had careless moment with a broadhead and now I am patiently waiting on some new Vaportrail strings. In 20 years I've never done something like that. You practice all year to be ready then do something stupid. It makes you sick a little LOL. I applaud Vaportrail though, everybody else told me 5-8 days, they immediately said they would have a set out to me today.
That's great for you, hope you get it fixed asap! As for me, the cam was bent and had to order a new one. I told him to do a 2 day delivery and get it fixed asap. Funny that morning he replaced a cam on a bow that a guy did the exact same thing shootin out of stand. so I'm hopin by this weekend? or at least Monday. With the weather taking a downturn, monday would be a good day for hunting.
