I've spent a lot of time chasing deer this past couple years and if finally paid off for me. It's not a monster but its a really good deer for me. Now I'm done I can put my attention towards getting my boys a deer. I shot this one less than 100 yards from my house. People don't talk much about Muzzy broad heads anymore but let me tell ya this buck didn't run 10 yards and was done. Heart shot I guess any broad head will do the trick. Any way here is a couple pics. image.jpg image.jpg

Those in back ground are all blue tongue deer I found last year. No blue tongue this year thank god. It really takes them out.

I'm happy with that deer. I shot it thinking at least 140 but all I can get is 135. I'm going to do it again tomorrow before heading to tax

    Doesn't matter! Great buck!

As far as the score, you have the same problem I did last year with my buck. I shot mine thinking he was going to be mid 130s or better, but when I scored him I could only come up with 127 and change. He had good tine length and beams, but lacked severely in mass. He was pencil thin, so his score suffered. Which is another reason I dont care too much about score!

    Again, congrats!
