Hey everyone quick question... Florida bow season started yesterday and I have seen about 6 does and passed all them all and its been hard. Now I only have 40 acres to hunt with two stand sets on it (thick woods) I'm just worried about popping a doe and that big buck gettin spooked early if he smells the blood or something the rains been slack here to say the least anyways just wondering if ya'll had any thoughts on this?

They will always be back during the rut anyway. I would still tag a doe in a spot i know a big buck comes through.

If you`ve been seeing bucks that you plan to shoot, I would wait. Especially if they seem to be on a somewhat consistent pattern. I`ve had good success with bucks early season, so me personally I would prolly wait...its a tough call sometimes. I usually figure that out when they come into shooting range

Dude, shoot a deer already and get it out of your system! Hunting is supposed to be fun,so have fun. Get a deer(or two) in the feezer and then you can concentrate on a buck. Once they start ruttin all bets are off anyway.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Thanks guys I'm pretty sure if a skillet head walks out again she's gonna get whacked I'll build a little confidence and put some meat in the freezer if nothing else and I wont get skunked on the season! But watch now that I decide to shoot a doe I wont be able to make it happen!

Well I got off work a lil early this afternoon and a doe walked in and she got popped first deer I've shot at with my new bow and those rage 3 blade chisel tips and they deff did the Job right after I found her and got her out it rained so it all worked out perfect! Side note I also ordered some of the new toxic broadheads by flying arrow archery they should be here tommorrow if I get the chance to pop something with those I'll make sure to post pics.

Congrats on the doe, now you can relax a little and enjoy chasing down a buck. I picked up some of the chisel tip broadheads this year too, can't try them out for another week and half though.

They worked awesome for me. I looked at my blades today though and they will definitely have to be replaced before I shoot them at a deer again.
