Hey guys, i bought a block about 2 weeks ago, have probably put 200 arrows into it, and some of the corners are crushing in, where it hasnt been shot yet, Just curious as to if anybody else has had this problem or if i just got a faulty target.

Post a couple pictures of the block, I've seen some at the stores where it looked like there were some small voids under the surface.

All the way through, meaning the arrow passed through the block completely, or penetrated deep enough that the tip came out the back? I find it pretty hard to believe you could get a complete pass through on a fairly new block target.

You can see in some of the pics that are the backside, that wrinkle started on the other side and then it eventually gave in and looks like the vitals side.

I have had many different brands over the years and do not store them outside. I put them in my garage after using them. I honestly feel they all suck. Two years tops from any of them. I keep them and stack them in front and behind.

Not surprised those are pieces of crap. Since it is only 2 weeks old I would see if the retailer that sold it would take it back and get yourself an 18-1 instead! Watch the Youtube target review video done last year by Gearfreak. They do a great job with it and the one you have is one they reviewed.

That looks like a lot of them that I have seen in the stores. I think it's an issue with their process making the block, leaving small voids. I was looking into getting one until I noticed these quality issues while shopping around.

I called them this morning too, they said its just the paint coming off, and that it does it normally, that it isnt going to have any problem stoping arrows. oh well i guess. they aren made to be pretty. made to stop arrows. as long as it does that for a year or two ill be happy.

for $100, id expect the finish to stay on and would want a refund or a replacement. It's like your bows finish coming off in the rain, sure it doesn't affect the bow but I sure want to keep the paintjob.

to me it looks like its been soaked in water and is delaminating. I've had one of those targets going on year #3 and never had any issues.
