Team 33 - Whitetail Mafia

Whats going on guys just checking in after a long day of work. Welcome and I like the avatar Cal! Unfortunately my season does not start until the 28th so I am just trying to fight the urge to want to check my trail cameras every 5 minutes until that day gets here.

Also I vote for Ckeith for captain, I have never been in the contest before and he seems to know his stuff.

 

Well I think we have a name, avatar, signature, and captain. Now we need 3 more players.

 

Waggs checking in! Names Jordan Waggoner and I live and will be hunting lawrence and crawford counties in southern illinois. This is my second year in the contest (missed the sign ups last year). This new ground im hunting in lawrence county is LOADED with 140 inch plus deer!! Tryin to get pics on trail cams as we speak but they never seem to want to cooperate..see them all day long in the fields though! Glad to be on the team and best of luck to you all!

 

I honestly don't remember but I think so. Lol. How sad is that. Anyway, I'm having trouble getting these images to fit into the pixel limitations of the forum....

Ok I just went back over the thread and so far we have 5 total votes for Ckeith to be captain and a few guys that said it really doesn't matter to them who it is so that makes the 5 votes a majority.

Guys, I will be checking my camera this weekend. Hopefully there is a few good pics to share. This is a new setup, so I have no idea if it will be any good. We'll see.

 

I pulled my card yesterday with NO deer it was disappointing but i think i have the cam on the wrong trail. I may move it to my other spot this weekend and let it ride to sunday before season and check it!

 

If there are no complaints I'll be captain! Also, IF by tommorrow Ninja of the Woods hasnt checked-in ill message Fitz and try to get a replacement. Team 32 said he is giving us a couple more days since we were so late coming in.

 

I am heading down to my Indiana property this weekend to check cameras. I put up a couple cameras near a few possible stand locations I was thinking about. I am pretty excited to see if they are actually using this specific trail like I think they are.

Also picked up a new groundblind to put out as well. Things are really starting to come together and opening day can't get here soon enough!

 

I ordered a new string from bowstringdepot.com and it should arrive by Friday so I'm looking forward to getting that put on and getting back to practice.
