Or calculate the kinetic energy of heavy vs light knowing it weight and speed. If you want to know how much energy is lost find out the energy it takes to bring a bow to full draw and subtract the kinetic energy from the arrow reading.
Now we're getting into electricity? Our EM's (Electrician's Mates) in the Navy used to describe the characteristics of electricity as P.F.M. (Pure F****** Magic). I understand as much about electricity as I do about physics, so I'm not going to contribute any more to this thread. Have a great night, and good luck with the spelling/grammar thing.
2 beers and brats=3,164 calories. Converted to KE less methane gas discharge, adding the Coriolis effect ? (Coriolis effect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Lost KE appears to be invenarial as far as I am circumsized. The bigger ? is the effect on arrow flight while passing thru my triple ozonics air mass screen?
My first point was intended to clarify your point about sound and inefficiency in a bow shot. I agree with you, I was just pointing out that sound is a product of excess energy being released through vibration. My comment about momentum was directed to the person who stated that kinetic energy being less important than momentum. I was pointing out that you hadn't, in fact, neglected momentum. You just didn't use the word. As for newtons... I was making a joke. I have degrees in both avionics engineering and respiratory medicine, so I'm pretty good with physics, I just prefer to address an audience in less than encyclopedic terms. It's easier for people to use information if it's relatable. Sent from my HTCEVOV4G using Tapatalk 2
I'll drop back in to say two things: First, ehh isn't a word, and second, I'm not a God; I simply graduated from high school.
Nahh, I appreciate the comedy I'm seeing how long i could type with a straight face, now i have the urge to get some fig newtons. strawberry to be exact
Too late, brother. :D I don't mind young engineers, but I have a real problem with what my Dad used to call "educated idiots".
Ill just end it here. Good night bro..you win, all in good fun(sort of). Don't want to get angry over nothing. P.S. thx for serving in the Navy
Your math is incorrect, sir. You can't actually subtract the effects of methane discharge from the KE, due to the fact that methane is actually lighter than air. Therefore, when released from the exhaust port of your shooting platform, it actually becomes heavier and more stable. Unfortunately, at bowhunting distances, the increase in stability is negated by the fact that methane produced by the digestion of beer and brats is well known to be extremely potent, and may, in fact, create an olfactory disturbance sufficient to drive every living thing within a mile into hiding. However, the stink to stability equation is negated by Lost Camp and Rage broadheads. Sent from my HTCEVOV4G using Tapatalk 2
