My opening day is September 28th. I'm ready to go. All stands hung, corn out, bow sighted in. Gonna get me a big ol buck and two does this year hopefully. Gonna be great meat for the year, hang another trophy on my wall (last years deer scored a 146) and help this team win!!!
Season starts October 1st Here in Iowa seasons are split first half runs October 1 to Nov 30 Second half is Dec 17 to Jan 10 The break is for the two shotgun seasons Don

All i do is work and sleep. Im 25, been bow hunting since 12. I shoot a kick ash Mathews?MR6 set at 80 lbs. 505g arrows at 295fps, i love this beast! Getting excited, still have a lot of work to do though. Wish i had some hunting friends because i wont hang stands alone and havent been able to get together with someone to get that done. Need to soon though. I also have a hunt for eastern shore md in jan, so if pa doesnt work out i still might be in the game. I hope haha. Def will try for a doe. Last year i past one or more about every hunt. Not doing that this year.
