Here too. PM me for my number. I'm good for a text before, during, and after a successful hunt.

The area I hunt doesn't seem to have a lot of monster bucks. The pics are of the best I have seen so far this summer. There is always hope that a bigger one will wander through.

Slow spring/summer for me on the picture front as well. This is really my only/main target I have on camera. He's been showing himself pretty regularly during the summer and daylight hours so we'll see.

This guy is still my number one. He showed up last season at the tail end of the rut, and my dad picked up one of his sheds while mowing a neighbors property:

Here are a couple of the nicer bucks on camera this summer. There are a few more, but I'm not able to pull them up right now for some reason.

That last buck is the same as the first one, he's just tangled up in some vines in that last pic.

I don't really do the camera thing, I have one out but haven't checked it since I put it out. The farm I hunt my best chance at a mature buck is in the rut. The rest of the time its a parade of does and young bucks.

Nothing wrong with that. I usually have my best chances for a mature buck right before the rut. It's pretty thick on the main property that I hunt, so they have plenty of browse before the crops come out. Once things start to brown up they hit the fields pretty hard.

Yeah richie it sucks! I seen a prairie state article or something like that with a huge droptine buck standing a pool of water chest high that they said probably wouldn't make it.

As if last year wasn't bad enough. Here's to hoping it rains up there....I don't know of any places that need deer to die off like they did last year. Rough stuff.

    Saskassaskin checking in!!

I am sorry it took me so long, I have been super busy getting ready to combine and other harvest work. I have all my spots prepped and have been scouting. always nice deer around but i know where there is a mule deer that is at least 200 inches. I got drawn for mule deer rifle and for moose this year also. its a good thing i just got a really solid new grinder and 10 pound sausage stuffer.

its a good thing you guys pm'e me a second time, I never got any kind of notification of the first email and only got notification of the second one. i just have not been around the forum lately.

I bought myself a Sako trg 42 338 lapua mag and a 5-25 by 56 pm-2 schmiht and Bender scope . mounted with a Near Manufacturing alfamount so if that mule does not go easy with the sharp stick hes going to be in big trouble.
