Man we got a lot of PA guys on this team. I know there has been a lot of good bucks coming out of there lately since the antler point thing went into effect. Good luck everybody.

Who will have the first opportunity at scoring for the team. Season starts on Sept 15 in MO, but I'll be out in WY chasing elk until the 27th or so unless I kill early and head home. Then IL opens on Oct. 1. The last couple of years I really didn't shoot many does on my property because I had the buck in my avatar running around and didn't want to disturb the place and run him off. This season the first doe in range is getting a ride on my 4 wheeler.

This is #1 on my list here in Michigan. He was a 10 point last year with a kicker on his right g2. Now a 12 with a little kicker on his left g2. Hope he steps out in front of my stand

Yep that's it, its in Reily township. I've never hunted there but have heard some good things. I hunt on my parents property about 5 miles northeast of there.

I'm here, I'm here, now everyone calm down and lets kill something.

I'm Shane Self from Glen Carbon, IL. I'm hunting some bottom land in southern Bond county. didn't get to stick a deer last year as I was too picky. this season I'll still be picky but I'll put a doe down like its no ones business. Other then that I'm 36, Married and loves long walks on the beach.

How was your deer population effected by the drought last year. Did you loose many bucks in that area? I heard people around here claiming to have found tons of dead deer but I'm calling bs. I didn't find a single dead deer along schoal creek which runs along side my properties. I turkey hunted in Bonner springs, ks there spring and found lots of dead carcasses there. But they didn't stop me from taking my 1st bird with a bow. 11.5" beard and 1 3/4" spurs. Video to follow. I'm not expecting too many trips to the stand this year as we are expecting our 2nd born September 21st.

Well you tried but failed. For that your team will lose 3 kills just to be fair. Good luck.

Your right, its only fair that we lose 3 kills to level the playing field and give other teams a chance.

Well, I had to run up to my farm in IL today to get a check from the loggers. PAYDAY!!! So I managed to put 3 stands up in some bottlenecks they created with their skidder trails that are lined with tree tops. It might not be the best spot to kill a monster right away, but I'm betting when they start chasing does it will be like a deer highway. Might tag an early season doe there too.

Looks like we got a full team now and are ready to rock.:woot: :nana:

You guys have some real nice targets on camera. I did not get my cameras out until couple weeks ago, but hope to pull some this weekend and maybe I'll have something to show, or I'll have to wait till I go to Ohio. Always some bruisers there.
