Just got done getting my permits to hunt the military post here. They only offered two hundred civilian archery tags this year on Fort Riley so I had to get here at four thirty this morning. Ugh. Now that I am all legit I am going to hang some sets and check some cameras. I am hoping to have some pictures of a big ten that I have spotted in an area of thickets and oaks. Other than that I have been busy working I haven't been able to shoot my bow for three weeks and its killing me. Lol after hanging sets I will probably head to the range. Really like the avatar. It looks prett bada$$! Looking forward to seeing everyone's success this year. I have a lot of ground to hunt. All private. So far I have some bucks that I hope to see during the season. Gonna try to get on one early in the season this year. Usually I don't see much until rut time. Gettin' excited, the season starts here in a little less than a month.

Here is a video of a buck I call Basket Case. He is not too wide but he has some great brows. In reality I would love to pass on him and let him grow. Unfortunately, where he is located, he won't have much of a chance if he walks under a stand. Still on the fence about him. What you guys think? Here is a picture of another young buck I got. Not the best picture, sorry.
