My personal goals are pretty simple. Take a doe for the freezer, kill a nice buck with my bow. I haven't done that since 2008. I have a great 8pt running around that should be in the mid 140's this season. He got the best of me last season, and I saw him after the season ended. Here's to hoping he sticks around my place this fall.

My main goals for the season are to help my son and my gf get their first deer with a bow. If either or both accomplish that, I'll call the year a success, regardless of how I do.

I'm hoping to put at least 3 does in the freezer and to get a 130"+ buck. If an old buck on the down hill slide comes by I won't hesitate to take him though. A mature buck of any size is a trophy.

My goals are to shoot a doe with my bow and a 120" buck as well. This is my first season after graduating so hunting will be very limited with working 8-5 weekdays

To get a shot at a new county record. Had him 30 yards quartering to me last year with a little trash in the way and did not take the shot, would like to drop the string on him this year befor the poachers get him.

My mother will be 87 this year so rutnutt and I will be going to Kentucky to visit and hunt.

I like how 8 pointers look that score over 135''.

Ruttnutt just moved to south east Texas and has 900+ acres to fart around on with some really big tuskers and deer on the place, I would like to get down there this season and give that a shot.

    Good luck to all.

    Goals:

Kill 3 does with my bow before Halloween.

Have my girlfriend Makenze kill "A" deer (anything brown is down for her) with her crossbow.

Kill one of the "shooter bucks" i have on camera something this season with my bow.

Accomplish some of these things on film.

How many total deer are you looking to kill? 1
What size buck is your minimum to receive an arrow? 190+ typical
Is there a date you are looking to take a buck? (eg. Halloween, Birthday, etc) The earlier the better
Is there a child or person you are looking to put on a deer? I'll invite friends to hunt, but they are more than capable of setting themselves up in good spots
Is there a new place you will be hunting (in state or out of state) where you will be looking to fill a tag.. I may go out of state during the rut if I get done early here

    3) Shoot a buck on public land with my bow (Have accomplished with rifle but not with bow)

First goal is to kill my first deer with my bow. If I can, I would love for it to be a buck. But I'm not going to be picky. I would also like to kill a couple of does with my bow too!

1 or 2 does and an 8 point or better. Another hog and another coyote would be a bonus.

My son really wants to shoot a buck we call Ray Charles and I will do what I can to help him achieve that goal.

My daughter turns 10 soon and will be deer hunting for the first time. I am oing to let her name this buck and try to put her on him.

I am still holding out hope to put an end to the Split Brow story. I also want to shoot a few does and shoot a buck in Kansas :)

This year I am hoping to kill 2 deer, 1 buck and 1 doe.

Since it will be my first buck, I will let an arrow loose on anything 2 1/2 or older.

I would love to get a buck on Halloween or sometime in early November.

I am hoping my dad can get his first deer this year.

My dad and I got permission to hunt on a small 10 acre property which seems promising but we still have to find a good spot to hang a stand.

To drop 4-5 deer. 2 bucks, 3 does.
I'd like to kill a 130+ in Wis., and a 150+ in Illinois. At least one of those over a decoy. (I spent hours today prepping the spot)
A bonus turkey and a couple of Yotes would be awesome.
    That's about it

I want to take a buck in 3 states, MN, WI and ND. I have 2 weeks dedicated to hunting MN, peak of the rut I'll be hunting WI then ND for a week in Dec. Minimum of 140, but if I like the early season buck I will take 120+, short hair looks so cool on a mount. Also taking my wife and daughter (11) out this year. If I can get either of them on a nice buck that would be great, but if they took a doe that would be just as great. I am hunting areas I have hunted in the past with the exception of one location, have to check the trail cams to see if it is a good areas.

I'm not too picky, my first bow kill would be great, and the earlier in the season the better!!!!!!!!!!

Here in NH I'm allowed only 2 deer with my bow. I would love to send an arrow through a P+Y class buck on public land, along with a big ol doe and 1 of those pesky turkey's that gave me the slip this past spring
