Because a bunch of OSU fans are trying to feel morally superior to LSU before any type of suspension has been announced. Guess what, Hill has been suspended for 3 months. He will probably get more suspension.

And all of this is coming from a fans of a team whose coach has let off more criminals than any coach in modern history.

Perhaps you should look up the definition of "naive"

Would you hang around this Hill dude...? And let him be around your family if you were not present?

My opinion has nothing to do with what college football team I like. I know I would not want that kid anywhere near anyone that is close to me.

He obviously lacks the capacity of choosing between right and wrong and learning from past mistakes.

Nope, I have no doubt that Hill is a thug.

But that is not the point.

ESPN ranked Devin Gardner as the #1 breakout player this year.

You have to be excited with the hype that is bringing to the UM program.

If this kid had these transgressions and was an athlete at Bama, tOSU or FL... I bet your response to this thread would have been entirely different.

I would not be saying the kid should be kicked off the team and the coach fired.

I've already stated that I think Hill is a thug and should be suspended multiple games.

I never said to fire Miles, I would not consider that.

The part that shocked me was that he was reinstated so quickly and Miles used the "the team voted him back" cop out because he wasn't man enough to say that he was the one allowing him back.

I think this kid should have been removed from all team activities for one year then allowed back if he took care of everything and was normal student and human being in that time away.

If you take away the issue with the child, this fight was bad, but not oh my god bad... Kids do dumb things. A 3 or 4 game suspension would have been sufficient. It's when you add the transgressions together, the half *** punishment from Miles is to lenient.

He has been suspended for 3 months. What was so quick about that? A 3 or 4 game suspension is likely coming.

And Hill missed an entire year because of the carnal knowledge misdemeanor.

You keep saying the suspension is likely. Why the hold up? Wouldn't have the perfect time to announce game suspensions been when he reinstated him?

Also the 3 month suspension is no big deal... He missed what, voluntary workouts?

Maybe Les needs to see his depth at TB before he decides how long he may or may not suspend him.

Miles has always been quirky/secretive about announcing suspensions. He never provides any details, just uses vague terms.

He will probably announce the suspension the day after the TCU game after Hill never sees the field.

It's shots like this that I keep defending.

Miles has proven time and time again that he will suspend or kick off even the best players if needed. See Perilloux, Mathieu, Jefferson, Ware, Simon, etc.

I have nothing against your program and wish them well. Good luck this fall, I hope Hill has finally learned and he stays out of the headlines for the wrong reasons.

Depth is definitely not a problem. And as far as the team vote, that is a little different for Miles but I believe what he is doing is making Hill accountable to his Team. Based on Miles history I believe any further punishment will be announce a couple of days before the start of the season.
