Exactly. Not to mention we hunt deer and eat venison too. It's easy for some to fit their lifestyle into ours without having a clue.
Yeah, I do all of the above as well. Or at least some family member does it for me. Still doesn't change the fact that I would at least try the lab grown beef. Which is still beef. Why can't some of you understand this?
I do understand it but I choose not to put stuff like that into my body, I eat all natural. Would I try it for the sake of trying it, sure, maybe. But I am also one of those "crazies" who doesn't take Advil or Tylenol because I have a headache, or go to the doctors when I get a cold, I just let my body take care of itself and even moreso I take care of my body.
It's meat grown from the cells of an all natural cow. And you do not eat all natural 100% of the time.
I would definitely dougie with Kate before eating the burger... I wouldn't want the burger to slow me down any.
...grown in a lab by the same "scientists" who once said eggs were good...err I mean bad...err I mean good, whatever. I'm not saying I do 100% either, but I don't purposefully put junk in my body, and I think engineered lab food is junk. If it is "all natural" then why did it take human intervention to harvest and create, AND, why did the people who tasted it say it was horrible? I've had all natural beef right from the cow and let me assure you, it didn't taste terrible. Look, I think it's just a matter of opinion, it's not for me - would I try it, sure, just for you.
Uh... They didn't say it was horrible. They said it was a bit dry because it was so lean. It didn't have any fat. Your all natural beef straight from the cow has fat. Fat equals flavor.
I am the operator of a large commercial cattle feedlot operation and I would try it....and I believe it will be reality in 10 or 20 years with the advancement of technology. Things change...I remember vividly telling my stockholders in 1996 that I was signing the company up for Internet service even though I had no idea what I was supposed to do it... Our business could not operate without it today. I have said this before...raising your own gardens, chickens, pigs, etc. is great and wholesome but you can't efficiently feed 300 million Americans this way, and certainly not 7 billion worldwide.
I wasn't sayin you in particular did or didn't. It as just a generalization. Most people don't but still wanna complain about the type of things in your op.
Not to disagree with you but you'd be pretty hard pressed not to find anything that's not lab engineered in one way or another any more. Go for a drive around th country and probably 90% of those crop fields are lab engineered in some way. Do they still grow on they're own, yea, but the genetics from most of those seeds started in a lab. Not to mention all the spray and fertilizer to make them grow. Its the same with meats, they're engineered to be more lean or fat or whatever. Especially since most large producers use AI, artificial insemination, anymore.
