I am 15 and I have only missed one deer. It was the only deer I have shot yet. I am hoping to get one this year. this will be my first full year seriously bow hunting. I only went out a few times last year.
I had the chance to hunt central Illinois once and had a monster of a buck walk under my stand right at daylight. He was the biggest deer I had ever seen. He was a big wide 12. I got nervous to say the least and rushed the shot. I shot right underneath him. It was such a sick feeling. It was a once in the lifetime opportunity and I blew it.
