Its about time I contribute to the site. Although I don't post often at one point or another I'm on the site every day. Seeing the trail cam pics, following the threads and watching BHOD just helps to fuel the fire. I have a bunch of great trail cam footage that I will put together and post up. This is a compilation from October 31 st to November 2 nd. Its a camera on a scrape that's close to a bedding area. These does and small bucks hit this scrape almost every day. I have monitored a few scrapes but for some reason this one gets hit hard. Like several times a day hard. The first buck is a young 11 pointer. Its hard to tell in the video but he broke 2 tines off. If he made it through he should be sweet this year. The second buck is a cool tall almost palmated 8. He looks to me to be the oldest out of the bunch. The next buck is a awesome 11 pointer. In September of 2012 I almost **** myself when I got this 11 on camera. Great brow tines, split g2, crab claws on each side, just a stunning buck. Hands down he is the Best looking buck I've captured on camera. On November 2 nd I had planned on sitting in the "scrape" stand but last minute I hunted a funnel. When I climbed into the scrape stand the following morning and popped the card into the reader and saw he stood there 15 yards from my stand for over 3 minutes I almost died lol. That was my only shot as I didn't see him again. And the fourth buck is a buck I call crab claw. I have great videos of him in velvet. He's actually bigger than he looks, he looks small in this video but he's gorgeous. I just got him on camera for the first time this year last week. Looks like he's going to have crab claws on both sides. Ill post up pictures soon. scrape way back on Vimeo
The camera is a stealth cam nomad IR. For 90 bucks you can't go wrong. I know alot of guys don't like stealth cams but I've been running 3 of these almost year round for 4 years. I picked up a scout 7 and I like it better than the nomad. Smaller, brown not black, 7 mp and records sound.
