Have any of you Prime guys changed your string and cable to match the color of your bow riser and limbs? And if did what brand? I want to change the factory color to match the optifade forest color. Not familiar with the better brands out there. Thanks.
Use 60x custom strings he did the ones on my impact an they are awesome. Just remember it takes a high quality string on these bows with small diameter serving to fit into the grooves on the cams
If you have someone else build the strings I would tell them to use halo. 007 serving in the areas that are in the cam tracks.
I think I'm going to have my shop do it. I was thinking of ordering it on my own but if I have a problem. I'm on my own so, I might have my Prime dealer order it. Jdicenhour what colors did u go with? I will take your info into consideration with the size of the cam track. Thanks
I went with a flo orange an blue string to match my vanes on my arrows. With the optifade I bet a forest green an white string would look good
I thought you could order from g5 with differents colors but not sure I thought I saw them making them on a you tube vid.
There are a ton good string makers that can hook you up... Hutch and sons, 60x, johns custom,vapor trail, Xfire...just off the top of my head all do good work.
All good advice, I've never changed out strings just to match my riser but I always change out factory strings as soon as I get a new bow. I've been using Korin Strings from Texas, Korbin is a great guy and makes the awesome strings at a great price. I used to use Bucknasty but I don't know if John is still in business ( ever since I hooked up with Korbin) one time he overnighted me a set because I got a new bow that I was going to use in competition.
