I am getting back into bow hunting and I started going through some of my old gear and I came across my first release that my dad made about 23 years ago. It does the job but I think I will need to get a new one.

That's a Fletch hunter. Still using one today. Went to pro shop last yr with full intentions of walking out with new release. After comparing dozens came home with the same one I walked in with. Hard to beat IMHO... if you decide to retire it don't throw away.. can always use a spare..

Fletch Hunter thanks for reminding me of that. I was 13 when I started using it. My dad was a machinist and it was one of his attempts to recreate the Fletch Hunter back in the late 80’s early 90’s.

That's really cool that he made that.
