One of the guys I work with is in his 60's and go outs to CO for 3.5 weeks every September. He also still shoots a 70# recurve.

He did admit a couple weeks back that he might have to drop down in draw weight.

I am 32 and i will hunt elk with my bow until i die regardless of my age, it is too addicting to just give it up based on age. You'll probably find me with my walker with tennis balls on it and a bow strapped to my back some day climbing the trails ha ha ha ha

Just turned 50 a week ago. I'm the pup of six guys who have been doing it all ourselves since 1989. We lost one group member back in 2000 who went up to 1998 when he turned 70. This year we have another who turned 70 on 3/17.... He doesn't feel this is his last year, as long as he still has his old reliable pack mules. Our ages are 50,52,55,57 & 70. The 70 year old's brother who turned 74 in May and my brother 53 are tagging along as camp support for the first time ever. To helps us oldsters they will drop us off in one location and pick us up in another. We just don't cover as much ground as quickly as we use to.

Sometimes we feel way over the hill, but when we here that bugle we become a bunch of little kids who transform into just over the next ridge gang.
