For a buck.....me love some late season nanny killing.

I've only had one shooter sighting in that late season, ever. I hunt it hard too as I'm usually off work.

    How'd the muddier go?

For those that complain about heat, I'm in avg 110/120 degrees in Aug when season opens. So 90deg and I'd be in a long sleeve shirt and gloves. My other things i hate are fighting illegals and drug runners or the swarms of hunters who have no permit or license yet still hunt and harvest.

Worst thing about bow season? Missing time at home with the family. The older I get the worse I feel about it.

Other hunters not being disrespectful, even though I hunt public and private land you always have the hunter who give the rest of us bad names by trespassing and stealing from others. I've hung many posted signs but I guess that means to hunters "Theres more deer over here"

    1. Cold Feet or hands.

    2. Dogs and or Yotes

    3. The sound and sight of a deer running away blowing at me.

    4. Waking up early to rain - the worst.

    5. Going back to bed when it rains and not being able to go back to sleep because I know I should be hunting.

    6. Desire to hunt stands that I always over hunt.

    7. Neighbors - people - trespassers.

    8. 4 point bucks - they might as well be doe to me.

    9. That deer season is during football season, that really sucks especially when your a Colts fan and they've had one bad season the last 12 years.

    10. Not owning my own land.

Seems like a lot of things I hate - but this is not a thread about the things I love. It would be a lie if I said I loved everything about hunting.

I would have to say the Heat, 2nd would be How thick the woods are with cover, can help or hinder? But as I have aged in years, I have started to Skip the 1st couple weeks of Deer season here In Indiana. And get serious about my Hunting towards the end of October around the 25th.

my less favorite things are insects: moskitoes, mites and swamps where a man could easely sing being alone
