Anyone have/had one? Likes or dislikes? My son wants one and I don't know anyone that has owned one.

When he gets stuck, call somebody with a jeep to get him out... lol

Honestly, I have heard a lot of good about them. But I would find it hard to spend that much money on a newer FJ and then take it through some of the stuff some guys do...but that is me. Much more capable then an H2 or H3 in my opinion.

My college aged son has had one for two years and has had zero problems. He has a jeep as well so he has never taken it off road, but he lives in Colorado and takes it to the mountains during the winter practically every weekend to go snowboarding. It handles very well on snow and bad roads. Just my opinion, but you can't go wrong with a Toyota.

My dad's buddy is on his second one (semi truck crushed the first), he's been east cost to west and back with it twice and Vermont to Alaska and back pulling a small camper. He loves it. I've never been in it I don't think, my dad says getting in the back seat is a pain in the *** with the little suicide doors. And no he's not a heavy set guy 6' 185lb. My Gramp drives tundras dad drives a 05 Tacoma crew cab with 100k when he isn't driving his duramax. Mom has always driven avalons and camerys. Can't say anything bad about the toyotas except I'll keep my duramax!
