I feek Eukanuba Labrador to my black lab. She seems to like not only the food, but whatever is left of it in her poop as well. It's that good!

My lab gets almost entirely raw, "prey model' food. Whole rabbits and squirrels, all the parts of the deer that I don't eat (head, bones, meat scraps), raw and cooked eggs (cooked eggs are easier for me to feed). Heads, feet and innards of chickens I butcher, fish.... etc.. I often de-bone the deer and toss the carcass to the dog. Only bits of jaw bone and bits of femur and other bigger bones are left. She has jaw muscles like a pit bull.

I freeze the rabbits and squirrels for about two weeks to kill off parasites.

She's going on nine years old and still runs around like a puppy.

My parents feed our dogs expensive feed store something or other....

My cousins had a big ol' furry mutt barn dog live to be 20 something and he only ate table scraps and cheapo walmart dog food on occasion...

Some kind of high protein dog food from the feed store. Pretty sure it's jus kent feeds hi pro for working dogs. Got a blue heeler so he's pretty hiper and the high protein food was only thing that would make him put on weight. Every once in awhile he'll get left over mashed potatoes and gravy of eggs but other than that no table scrapes. Think ots something like 30 bucks for 50 lbs bag, not real sure seeing as its gets delivered or tacked onto cattle feed bill so it may be a little more.

I jus got some of the blue buffalo. Man they're proud of that stuff ha. Might haveta actually follow the recommended amount on the bag for this one. Guess I'll see if it worth all the hype you hear, my dog acts like he's starving all the time so guess see if this does better, he gets fed twice a day and fill bowl up both times.
