I'm going to start working on picking up a new property this year. I have one in mind that I am hoping they say yes. I already picked up another small farm in another county that is 2 weeks behind us which mean 2 weeks more bow before the gunners start coming out. I'll probably hunt hardest in bow season and lay low during rifle. Seems the movement almost comes to a halt during daylight hours around my hunting grounds when the ATV's and lead start coming out.

I wasn't nearly this bad last year. Already putting out minerals and vitamin supplements. Ready to move a couple sets and put out at least 1 more. The wife and I are already shooting and getting ready to hit it hard! Can't wait!

I'm gonna do 2 lock ons in one tree so we can hunt together a couple times. should be fun!

I've got it bad, next week turkey season end here which means I can go hunting hogs again. Thats the best way I have found to kill time while waiting for deer season.

This is an animal I am trying to gain access to hunt in Western NC. Been wanting to stick some bacon for a while now.

Yes... I am getting the fever - real bad!
I shot my first archery bird this year and now I'm so pumped I can't wait for deer season! I got invited to a 3-D league yesterday and I'm gonna take advantage of that. I usually just shoot a 5-spot target in the backyard.

    Come on October 1st!

Hosted Mothers' Day brunch for the family yesterday, and my 10 year old nephew, who I've taken hunting before, asks when we are going hunting again. Had to tell him season doesn't start until October 1 . I think he's got the fever too.

I can't wait. I think about bowhunting every single day. The best part this year is that my first bowhunt this fall will be my first ever hunt for elk. I am so pumped! Anybody else hunting a new species for the first time this year?
