Alright guys i took my camera arm out today to see how it was and after messing with the head i just dont like it. I'm going to pick one up before the season starts so no big rush but what is the best fluid head out there for the money? Also what head are you guys using? If you have pictures feel free to post them.

I was leaning towards manfrotto. Would you be able to bring it to the G2G if you order before then so i could check it out?
Are most if not all heads universal in the sense of installing them. So if take the head off my 3rd arm bandit ill be able to put say a manfrotto head on with out any problems.
I agree with Fergus. This Manfrotto head is the same that I've been using going into my 3rd season now. I love it!
I'm using the Lone Wolf camera arm. It works good for smaller cameras, and is compact for a self-filmer like myself. I would advise getting the extension for the arm, since it's a bit short otherwise.
I just got a Manfrotto 701. I love it. However I couldn't get it mounted to my Bandit. The thread on the bandit it too small for the fluid head. Plus I think that the fluid head is just too big for an arm that size. Maybe you can find an adapter of some sort. Im probably going to upgrade to a Muddy Outfitter arm before season.
I have a Manfrotto 701HDV on my 3rd arm. I really like the head, but don't care for the arm all that much. I have a cheaper off brand type head on my tripod, and it does a decent job, but it is not in the same class as the Manfrotto as far as functionality.
