well got my first turkey this morning

    never been a big fan of eating turkey meat but the wife likes it so I took out my evil minion and nailed my first turkey this morning. yeah I know not with a bow but I am hooked will be out next weekend chasing them with the bow for sure!

    my buddy who had been hunting turkeys before took me out and showed me the ropes, of course the shotgun he loaned me was a 10 gauge (surprise) we both shot jakes at the same time called in 3 of them only 1 made it back to the trees lol

    update: so after hunting hard the last 3 weekends still no joy on the daughter getting a turkey :( but she did knock a porcupine out of a tree this morning with her little 20 guage! her first kill!
